Dog is NOT amused right now… :(

Do you think my dog likes his new raincoat?

This is my rescue doggie Sir Chester who unfortunately has a nasty tendency to frolic in the rain, dash through puddles and roll around in wet grass.

So I did what any other normal human being would do – I got him a raincoat. For some or other reason though he doesn’t look amused and if I’m not mistaken – there might be a glint in his eye that does not bode well for me, my carpet or the tires of my car.

Contrary to popular belief – I’m not trying to make my dog look like an idiot… I’m just desperately trying to keep the little brat dry so that I don’t have a miserable wet dog that hates a hair dryer and detests a towel. As I’ve lost numerous of the aforementioned in skirmishes with the abovementioned miserable dog – I thought it best to rather invest in a raincoat to keep the little twit dry!

Now to convince him that I’m doing it in his best interest… but somehow I don’t think he is going to listen to anything I say right now.

Now where is there a dog whisperer when you need one?

The Reason why my dog needs a raincoat!

Hello Shorty….. hows that crazy Lucyanddots of yours? I swear that cat is a close family member of Junkie because they both appear to have more than just a touch of madness in their genes… 🙂
Junkie is doing great, let me quickly do a post about her because her latest trick is quite strange. Nice to see you here!

    Shame, poor little guy.
(My MIL has fashioned a raincoat for our Fritzl out of Checkers packets, you should se the look of mortification on his face when she takes him out like that.)

LMAO… oh my word – I would pay money to see that… please take a pic and post it for us – this is the type of thing that makes my day… 🙂

HAHAHA!!! Its been a while since I saw Sir Chester! He has what my daughter calls the F You look……I tell you he really does!! As I was writing this to you I saw a movement on the floor out the corner of my eye! There was the minutest little baby relative of yours plopping across the carpet. I have just rescued & taken him/her back to the garden where they are all chirping away happily in stereo. The cutest little western leopard toads….

Aaahh.. thank you for rescueing one of my relatives… it must have been a teenager trying to make a break for it – and you just voiled its escape plan… *giggle*
I had to rescue a big frog from Junkie the cat on Sunday and I swear the damn amphibian moaned at me all the way back to the pond accross the road. Sounded so much like my perspective mother-in-law that I felt like wringing its little neck.
